How do you separate a bad run from bad execution?

Trading is often about how to take the appropriate risk without exposing yourself to very human flaws.

One thing that seems underrated is having clear rules before the losing streak starts.

When emotions are already involved, it becomes much harder to decide objectively whether to reduce stakes, stop for the day, or keep trading.

Personally, I think predefined limits and a simple review process after the session can help a lot. Even just writing down what happened, whether the original setup was valid, and whether the execution followed the plan can make it easier to separate a bad run from poor decision-making.

Interested to hear how others here structure this.
