Is it possible to place a lay bet using the "take BSP on all unmatched bets" and within a certain odds range?
E.g between lay odds 5.0 and 10.0
I understand I can place my lay bet well outside of the required odds but just wondering if it would still get matched at BSP within a range even though the BSP isn't yet known?
Could it match me at lay price of 5.0 but then drop to say 4.8 and that ends up being the actual BSP even though I didn't want that price?
I've rarely used BSP bets so not fully clued up on how it works with automated bets.
BSP within an odds range
So I've come back to this after failing to set it up correctly last time.
Basically I want to place a lay bet at BSP but within a certain odds range.
Should I just set up a servent to trigger a lay bet at 1 second within a range after the event goes in play? Would that be the closest to BSP I can get if the BSP falls between my range?
Any help much appreciated.

Try this if triggering in-play once its knownScotty66 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2026 1:14 pmSo I've come back to this after failing to set it up correctly last time.

Thanks. Yeah I've got my price range set up correctly and it will place a lay bet as long as the odds are between that range.
My main issue is when to trigger the bet to get BSP (or as close to it as possible)
Pre race trigger bet placed at 1 second before the start time and I could end up waiting another 2 or 3 minutes in which the price then goes out of my range (due to playing up in the stalls for example)
And 1 second after in play seems as close to BSP as possible I think , but the odds may fly out and I miss the bet and not get matched?

As Anbell said earlier you can't place a bet within a BSP odds range pre-off because no one knows what it will be until its turned in-play and reconciled by BFScotty66 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2026 1:46 pmThanks. You can either use the Projected SP as your range pre-off (but risk the actual SP ends up straying outside this)
Or trigger it in-play using the Actual SP once its known (and risk not being matched)
