Not a good start to the day for favourite backers. 5 from 5 all beaten including 4 odds-on shots.

1/9 beaten.
4/6 beaten.
8/11 beaten.
13/8 beaten

Lots of markets today have traded at ridiculously low prices pre-off for really no reason at all.

I found the 2 minute marked seemed to continue most trends with few reversing

BF so slow at re-opening after a close finish that the slow mo has been and gone and everyone knows who's likely won

Yes, very frustrating!

If Betfair are only interested in maximising traded volume, then they should just automatically suspend and immediately reopen every single horse race as they cross the line. There's always high volumes wanting to trade at the end of the race to manage positions, bet on possible stewards enquiries, and occasional close finishes etc.

got a winning ticket of 2.96 on Caffu Zafeen
seems like that drift from odds on was just 1 player forcing a big sum on via icebergs, happy to fade that, ty for the prof 8-)

The Captains Word
1.02 4,999.99 Lay
02-Oct-26 23:00
-100.00

stewards mkt opened drifted 1.01→3.6, didn't even realise or i would hedge some
and it kept race somehow, big sad

more donkey bets at Newcastle close to off, moves feel artificial, player in question still has bankroll
