Is a servant faster than an in automation rule

Servants, just tap your bell to call them.

Hi Community of experts!

I have a few strategies I am testing in practice mode, a little concerned about how they will translate in the live markets but my bets aren't huge! Comments welcome on that.

I have some rules in my automation files that say 'green up when profit is -£10' for example. But should I be using servants instead? And if so, can I set them to fire when a % of stake or liability loss is hit? Then a single servant becomes generic.

But my main concern is speed as we are talking in-play exits!

Thanks
Ian

Servants use the same rules as automation files so you can do the same with either.

There is also no difference speed wise

The purpose of servants is to give you some manual control over a rules files, for example you might want to choose a runner for your rules to trigger on based on how you see a horse is looking on TV rather than specify a fixed runner in advance ie, the fav or 2nd fav
