Okay you guys you are right, i found a fault in my method after four days, luckily i did not lose anymore money but once again it's back to the drawing board, please forgive my childish behaviour and leaving this forum. Also i agree i am over cofident and naive, but i feel that if i dont stay positive i'll quit. The only thing i will say to you pros, you may not understand how hard it is for some of us, and maybe i was just trying to convince myself that i had it, but the truth is i was not 100%, and as you all know the smallest things can get to people when it's all up hill struggle. so mugsgame dont worry i like a laugh to, take the piss as much as you like, and please dont leave this forum because of my actions, but in the future perhaps go a bit easy on new people they could be pulling there hair out like me lol, at least give it a few days lol. Anyway this is the real me i'm still no closer, and i hope you guys we still help me and give me advice.

Not a pro because it is not my main source of income it is only a enhancement to it for me,but believe you me everyone on this forum has been there,i find alot of newbies dont want to do thier apprenteship like everyone else did before they wear the badge of
consistant profits
Keep at it you will find positive edges and things will jump out at you as you go along

Good luck

Fair play to you Steve. It takes guts to say your sorry.

I'm sorry that my post saying you were coming across as a bit of a cock was taken out of context and blown out of proportion.

I am big enough to say publicly that I am sorry if what I said caused you offence.

I'll learn form this experience and I may choose my words a little more carefully in the future. :D

Hi frustrated .Like alpha322 said, we have all been to the school of doubt. It's part of the learning process. I can understand your stress and angst, so, if i may, probably the bets thing for you at present is to walk away from trading for a while - a week at least, maybe two or perhaps even a month +. You may be surprised how enthused you can be after a break and perhaps even more surprised how, without even thinking, the proverbial light may go off in you mind and it just may all just fall in place for you. You obviously have good strength of character and that is a a very good start. Good luck to you.

Steve

Fair play to you, it does take a lot of guts to admit you're wrong. On an even more positive note it shows you have the correct mental attitude to become a trader. I have been doing this for years, badly sometimes :D , and the biggest mistake I see with new or novice traders is the inability to admit they are wrong when entering a trade. Being wrong is normal, I get it wrong every day, the skill is in admitting you're wrong, closing out the position for a small loss and then starting again. This should keep the losses small, or at least proportionate to your profits which will allow you to "learn on the job" so to speak without blowing huge wads of cash and getting angry and frustrated . Once the angry voice in your head takes over you are on the road to the poor house pretty damn quick.

So my advice would be admit your mistakes, cut your losses and start again. As you progress try not to repeat the same mistakes and slowly you will get a better understanding of the why and that should stop you thinking about how?

I hope that makes sense?

Steve, good im glad you didn't lose much money, this game can be very hard at times and i think all of us have been where you are right now.

i remember trying out some laying system in about 2004 and i recorded some thing like 100 consecutive winning lays at under 10-1.
I got carried away thinking i was going to be a millionaire only to get bitten lose it all and more,

i had no edge and was Naive and stupid to think that i did, but since then i have gone on to be a very profitable trader.

It can be done with hard work and Patience but there are no short cuts unfortuatly.

guys im sorri to say this but i think u guys are way too soft on frustrated, yes we all had bad losses and made plenty mistakes but manners is a big thing for me. i will never help frustrated cause has no manners he needs to quit trading go to meetings and never return. im not so forgiving like u guys mabey cause all the newbies these days seem to think they know it all ... they laugh at us when we say something to them and the do so little research most of them want a golden spoon in their mouth... "help me make 500 a day or 1000 a day so i can buy my big house and oh ya i wanted all automated" thats what most of them say and the when i doesnt happen we are the bad ones.... and then what SORRRIIIIII.

what crap!!!
guys wake up u are sharing golden info with people who dont respect u, they would probably push u out the way in line!!

If I can join this group hug, I'd like to say 'sorry' to MG if my bullying comment caused any offense. It seemed to me that he was being nasty towards a guy whose only crime was to be a bit naive and over-confident (and let's be honest, we've probably all been there in our trading development!).

But with hindsight, I accept that there's a difference between telling someone that they are coming across like a cock, and calling them one.

Peter - Can I suggest that, if Bet Angel doesn't do so already, it might be worth sending new forum joiners a 'where and how to look for information and advice if you're a beginner' email? That might reduce the number of repeat questions asked by beginners.

What about a beginners page , a bit like a user guide but with all the posts that experienced traders post which are beneficial to newbies all in one place.

i agree , i dont mind giving advice but its mainly the same stuff over and over.
