Can't connect BA to betfair

Hi,

I have a problem, I've been speaking with a friend that uses BA for day to day trading, and I've said that I'll give this system a shot.

I've made an account with Betfair, installed BA, sign-up for trial...but I am getting an error :
"Bet Angel Authentication successfull, however unable to connect to Betfair using the supplied user name and password."

My friend tells me that BA for him is working great, I am asking here because I use a trial of BA and a new account on Betfair.

Can anyone help me, maybe I've forgot to do some changes.

Have you tried using the username and password on the betfair website direct? Can you log in that way?

Either a node is down at Betfair or one of the following is true:

- Your account has zero funds (Betfair now block access if your account is empty)
- You have incorrectly entered your password
- You are using 2-step authentication and have not updated to 1.34.2 (http://www.betangel.com/download/) and/or are not appending the authentication code to your password (http://betangel.kayako.com/News/NewsIte ... -bet-angel)
- Your firewall or internet security software is blocking some connections. Try temporarily disabling it
- Your local ISP is running maintenance on a DNS server. Try again later
- Your time zone settings are incorrect. Check daylight savings is set correctly also

Thank you for your fast and great answers.
I can connect to betfair from their main and also phone app.
I have already tried from 2-3 computers and at least a dozen on ISP and proxy.
I will try again after I will deposit some funds. I wanted to test sime theories and find sime answers.
