Why was there so much money kicking about on this grade 6 race?? over a mill matched before the off and there was like rows of 30k bets waiting to be matched.

Well it stopped me from getting filled on my counter position so I had to bail out for a mere £4.17!

I assumed I had been a sleep for a while and it was Cheltenham already given the amounts in the market

I had a good position to start with but it didn't work out either so I scratched. I was a bit puzzled to why so much money was involved. :?

Just a follow on from the farcical thread - happens day in day out, didn't seem out of the blue to me.

That Farcical thread you mention was a screen dump of Cheltenham though were as this was a grade 6 at Southwell?

It has just happened again at Newcastle on the fav so who knows? maybe a couple of big timers warming up for Cheltenham :)

Still I don't see this sort of volume day in day out, not at these low grade meetings?

It seemed to me that this bot was doing just what it wanted with the price even if the market was against it and was likly to steam (that's what I felt about the horse Devils Delight), Newcastle minutes ago. I could have felt that it's intention was to reverse the price above 3.00 again and it did it easily.

Have a look through the thread, it covers everything from Group races to sellers. It is happening almost every single day of the week. I have given up posting on that thread about it as it happens so often now.

Did you notice though about 30 seconds after DDs trainer started talking it up and some 'real' money came for it the bot £ disappeared and it had to go down

There is a tactic to be had here though. If you can work out which direction it really wants to go in you can sit and wait for the cork to be removed from the bottle. At that point the price just pops out and starts to catch up with the lack of price movement.

Yup fully agree - money can be made from it. They have become quite predictable.

Ok Andy I'll check out that thread, cheers.

I'm still making money but it just gets in the way if you like, I've not had any good wins today, all small profits. Gets annoying when your greedy like me

Agree, finally some "healthy" trading.
