An Aust corporate bookmaker is running a promo until mid Feb where on all EPL and A-League games, you get a refund (max $100) of correct score bets if you are off by one goal. One refund only on your first bet on the market.

eg. If you back a 1-1 draw, money back if the score finishes 1-0, 0-1, 2-1, 1-2.

Obviously I'd imagine prices are wound in slightly, but as an example, the WBA v Everton match yesterday had the 1-1 at 6.5 (7.6 on BF Exchange close to kickoff) and the 1-2 at 8.5 (10 on BF).

I'm always acutely aware of the 'If it looks too good to be true, it probably is' maxim, but this looks beatable to me.

I guess the strategy would be never choose a scoreline with a '0' as you can only get a refund one way.

Can this be taken advantage of from a trading point of view as well?

Thoughts.

Hi, you can also lay the other immediate scores for $100/(odd-1) to edge all your positions across the book, if I'm reading this rigth.

I'd definitively go for tight matches and back 1-1.

Well that didn't last long. I decided to just back the favourites to win 2-1 on each game. Had a win on the A-League last weekend, but got rogered on the EPL midweek.

This morning I got an email from the bookie to advise me they have placed a 'promo' ban on my account and I'm no longer eligible to receive any money back or free bets as a result of any promotions...lol

Yes, that sounds familiar

It doesn't take them long to identify problem punters

Don't know if it applies to everyone, but BETDAQ are advertising the 12.45 Saurday Matches as "Commision Free"!

Next one is Liverpool v Arsenal so chances for arbitrage possible. :D

I read a note on another forum that an exchange called matchbook offer commission free on all football games for a few months. Maybe a few nice opportunities for PC customers on bf
