Forget looking at the bookmakers price and follow what the exchange is telling you, if anything the bookmakers should be looking at the exchange to get an idea of what punters are thinking and change there books to what they see on the exchange.trader-eric wrote:Hi all, any comments on the influence of the bookmakers prices (the corporates)
on trading in Australia? I'm confused as to whether Betfair prices follow theirs because traders may? Punters I would imagine check to see the bookies price first because they're supposed to be getting around 20% better and I've also heard bookies lay off via Betfair if they're over committed on a runner but I would imagine they would be the smaller on course ones. Then throw in the reduced Betfair pools and Trader activity due to the turnover charge and everything else thats going on (what did we do to deserve this) and I have no idea. Any comments would be appreciated
