Yes very disappointing - hope Koeman turns it around soon.

I was tempted to put £10 on Bournemouth at half-time at 9.2 on Betfair but as I am trying to avoid pure gambling I resisted the temptation - doh!

I went against them yesterday after their demoralising defeat mid-week. Other than the first minute they didn't really look very fluent. This is when a manager shows his true abilities IMHO.

From what I saw they have lost their shape. Mid week they missed Fonte, but no real excuses for yesterday.

How are they going Peter?

I've kept my own records of goals over the years, and this season has seemed to produce more games that have unexpectedly had under 2.5 than I can remember in previous years

I haven't backed checked them yet, I'll do so at some point and let you know. EPL is pulling in more goals than historically seen in the top flight. Probably showing up the gap between the haves and have nots.

First ratings should go up tomorrow morning

How to use the ratings

It's important to note that the ratings give you a guide as to where high and low scoring matches are most likely to exist.

It does NOT tell you specifically which matches will or won't have a certain number of goals or whether there are no goals expected, but it does give you a confidence that something will happen.

Typically it's best to use a strategy on a group of matches. Such is the variability of goals in a football match, putting a strategy to use in a cluster of low scoring matches will always deliver more consistent results than gambling it all on one match.

If you see a rating of 2.30 what that is saying, if the match was played 100 times then we would expect to see 23 goals in those 100 matches. You could easily see a 5-0 in there, but it would be very rare and a low score would be much more likely.

Over the course of the season we would expect to be very close in terms of goals to average rating but....

Unlikely results do occur and high scoring matches can deliver low scores and vice versa. You could have poor weather, a key player sent off or a freak goal. So you can never say exactly what will happen. Only that something is more or less likely and that is how you should the ratings.
Did i miss anything as "If the match was played 100 times then we would expect to see 23 goals in those 100 matches." means there will be around 1 goal in 5 matches which is really little.
