Hoping to clear up this automation question...

I would like to trigger a bet on a selection but only if the next fav is more than 10 ticks higher.

Can anyone help define this condition using the Historic Relative Odds rule?

I am not sure if you need plus or minus when used with Last Traded Price - e.g

"If fav 1 LTP is less than the fav 2 LTP minus 10 ticks then place bet"

In other words -

Only lay fav 1 if fav 2 is at least 10 ticks higher.

Much appreciated.

I though I might have this - but the 2 selections prices were 4.1 and 4.5 (4 tick difference?) and it still places the bet.

Hope this is clear - any help appreciated.

I agree, having tick size as an automation stake option would be great

However, I asked for this a long time ago and it never saw the light of day

I assume PW doesn't think it's worthwhile

Not sure I made this clear enough.

I am looking to automate the following rule...

Lay the 1st fav at LTP only if the 2nd Fav is 10 ticks higher.

Using the Historic Relative Odds - this should be possible.

I am just not sure to use 'plus/minus' and 'equal to / less than' in the

rule condition settings.

Help!

Hello alldaygreen

This is my very first post and I am very new to automation. I am currently looking at performing a similar trade to you, but I was looking at using the "Relative Odds Condition" where you also need to decide between a "plus" or "minus". To my mind it is not obvious. So I would like to endorse your suggestion for a clarification.

Hello Dallas

I have had another look at your explanation at viewtopic.php?f=37&t=11625&p=98704#p98704.

It seems to me that you can't have two "currents". Should Selection A be a "selection" rather than "current"

Regards

It depends on exactly what your wanting to do, in the case of that thread and the Q in the opening post of this thread using 2 x currents it what was needed for the poster to achive what he wanted
