Only alternative I know is this broker, however the major weakness is they don't support the use of software so I very doubt it would suit you to trade horses
They do have every Betfair markets though with same volumes.

Betfair told me recently that they will not be deleting existing SLO accounts. They also said the following:
"No bets, registration or funding should be accepted from residents or customers physically located in the country/territory/province. This means that IP blocking must be implemented, and the country removed from the registration dropdown box."
The solution should be obvious. If it's not then I suggest you consult with the person who opened this thread before you start opening new accounts through shady brokers.

It's about governments wanting to keep tax receipts local rather than going to overseas companies. This will worsen as more countries adopt protectionist policies.Euler wrote:I'm always incredibly annoyed when Betfair exit countries like this. I know it's not all their fault, but we seem to be going backwards in terms of the adoption of the exchange. It's a much better way of betting than traditional means but governments and corporations are pushing people into much worse methods and it's crazy. It just doesn't make sense.
The British public with their flimsy understanding of tax law would probably vote to exclude Google and Amazon from the UK market if there was a viable British alternative.
This new world order might affect my plans to trade in my retirement from a warmer country.
