Yeah, I'd suggest we meet up at a nearby pub before the event, along with anyone else on here who's going.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Thu Oct 19, 2023 1:17 pmThat's a shame, we'll have to go next time. It's a sign of how pro-active people are though if its booked up again, but not surprising when tech can make such a big difference these days.
I think social darts is just pub darts, like winner stays on pool....ie not some sort of competition.

It's just as well they provide food at these events. I've just looked up the Bloomsbury Tavern, close to the venue. £12 for a chicken & bacon sandwich, £17.50 for haddock & chips, though I guess that's normal for London.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Thu Oct 19, 2023 3:13 pmI'll skip that part, I'm driving so I don't feel I need to pre-load on orange juice.![]()

Good to have domestic football back this weekend. Australian A-League kicks off in about 5 mins which normally does OK albeit with 5% commission.

Don't know if they'll be much appetite for tonight's 8pm kick off everyone will either be pissed or watching the rugby or both. Even Man U fans will probably give it a swerve the way there playing

4 different kick off times today and only 1 PL game tomorrow. Game scheduling is just getting more and more ridiculous and is due to get worse with the recent proposals.
Yup, although the market likes United's chances thereMichael5482 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2023 12:23 pmDon't know if they'll be much appetite for tonight's 8pm kick off everyone will either be pissed or watching the rugby or both. Even Man U fans will probably give it a swerve the way there playing![]()

I think one thing is almost certain, that Liverpool concede first within 10 minutes and then produce a comfortable 3-1 win!

I think Klopp revels in going behind. I'm sure Liverpool fans would much prefer them not to go behind but Klopp's in play game management is exceptional.Kai wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2023 12:28 pmYup, although the market likes United's chances thereMichael5482 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2023 12:23 pmDon't know if they'll be much appetite for tonight's 8pm kick off everyone will either be pissed or watching the rugby or both.
