I don't agree with lifetime bans for drunken teens doing something stupid. I'd be banned from parks for life.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 12:11 pmWhy don’t they just name and shame these people with their picture on the main news channels along with lifetime bans. Might seem a bit harsh but some people need a good k??king etcKai wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 11:59 amYep, people will post and use just about anything to wind others up but we all know there's always a few idiots at every club, rest of the City fanbase seemed to strongly condemn it.
But really can't think of a worse example than using Bradley Lowery for "banter".

Postecoglou is doing a great job, Spurs are playing some good attacking football. I had my doubts, thought it may have been a to big a step up from the leagues he'd managed in but so far he and Spurs have been excellent.
Spurs a very good watch at the mo.
I've never even heard of the man until he was linked with the Spurs job!
Really wouldn't mind seeing Spurs fans celebrate something like a title win, to get over their hoodoo, especially now after Kane left
Only potential issue I see for tonight is some big players like Son and Romero are doubtful to start, others may need to step up if needed

He did an impeccable job at Celtic they won with style. But even so I wasn't so sure on him at Spurs that I've put money on it.Michael5482 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 2:23 pmPostecoglou is doing a great job, Spurs are playing some good attacking football. Nobody would have predicted Spurs being top and it may all go pear-shaped, but Postecoglou has achieved something Mourinho and Conte couldn't AND without the talisman top notch striker.
Imagine how Kane will feel if Spurs win the league! Although with 9 goals in 8 he probably feels quite good.
City has already put out a statement saying they will ban them.Derek27 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 12:55 pmI don't agree with lifetime bans for drunken teens doing something stupid. If I were City I'd 100% ban them for life and would have zero tolerance for anything that interferes with the sportswashing project. Otherwise it probably shouldn't be a life ban for these kids.

I'd like to see shoplifters get a lifetime ban from shops. They'd have to purchase their shopping online and pay for it first.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 6:02 pmThat’s my point Derek.Derek27 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 12:55 pmI don't agree with lifetime bans for drunken teens doing something stupid. Had a bloke stop me on Saturday with a bag full of 20 M&S sirloin steaks. He wanted £30 for the lot. Have to admit I was tempted.Derek27 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 8:25 pmI'd like to see shoplifters get a lifetime ban from shops. They'd have to purchase their shopping online and pay for it first.![]()

Glancing at the table you would think Spurs are overachieving. However, looking at their fixtures they've certainly had it easy:
Brentford away - tricky - drew 2-2
Man Utd home - easy - won 2-0
Bournemouth away - easy - won 2-0
Burnley away - easy - won 5-2
Sheff Utd home - easy - won 2-1 (were losing until 98th minute)
Arsenal away - hard - drew 2-2
Liverpool home - tricky - won 2-1 (we all know what happened here)
Luton away - easy - won 1-0 (lucky)
Fulham home - easy - won 2-0
I can't see them finishing top 4, let alone challenging for the title.
Good analysis and I agree for the most part, they rode their luck a bit there, shoulda lost to Sheffield and did fk all vs Liverpool until the red card.
I reckon Spurs will battle Newcastle for that 4th spot and whoever else challenges it, while City/Arse/LFC have top 3 nailed on.
Also worth mentioning that 5th spot would also qualify for CL if English clubs perform well in Europe this season, since the "Swiss league" format with the expanded CL is coming into effect next season.
