I'm not sure Southgate is the man to take England into the Euros next year. Yes we've got a few injuries but still blessed with an abundance of attacking talent and were mincing about at home to Malta like we have 11 David Batty's on the pitch, it's a tough watch he's to negative, he's had his time for me.
Agreed, going past them for fun and then checking back as nobody else has made a commited run. But I guess they all are trying to avoid an injury. It could backfire. 1-0 from an own goal is pretty poor at 55 mins.

In the Euros if we go behind to a France or a Germany I have no confidence he can turn it around, he's to one dimensional and to defensive minded. Not saying the way we play isn't effective at times because it is but he only has one way of playing and that's not good enough when it's not going our way.
FA need to go and get Klopp, sod Liverpool I don't support them

Sorry, but that was not good enough Gareth. Moments of attacking, but no coherent approach. It looked like "we can win this at a canter". But England should have won at a trot. 2-0 with the gift of an own goal? This is a terrible message for Southgate and some of this bunch of overpaid.

Contrary to popular belief the directors have a responsibility to run the business within the rules/law. Any suspected breach found needs to be reported firstly because they earn a few 'we came clean' points and secondly the Directors could be held responsible in some cases!
I was in the financial services game and one of the rules of the regulators was you had to self declare any breaches if not then you would have two charges of rule breaches against you!

These International breaks are absolutely horrendous, littered with meaningless uncompetitive fixtures. You get the odd decent games but by an large it's 90% crap.
Football is over diluted now, we've got World Cup expansion to 48 teams, Champions League expansion to a 36 team 1st round group stage, expansions already of Europe & Conference Leagues all to squeeze every last penny out of the fans and people are daft enough to pay mainly on TV as all you see is empty stadiums unless the big boys are playing.
Football is in fast danger of becoming the new horse racing with a lot of it becoming uncompetitive dross all to squeeze a few extra quid. Is it really worth it? I don't think so
