Can't imagine how much mansplaining they've had to put up with.
There's been a serious degradation of respect towards officials in general, it's crazy how much abuse they can get even when they perform perfectly well. Technology was supposed to help them by now, but it has only done the opposite!
At least they're not likely to get punched by a club official.Kai wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2023 2:57 pmCan't imagine how much mansplaining they've had to put up with.

The solution is simple but football doesn't want it. When do you see a Rugby Union ref being treated the way they do in football. They do it because they know they can get away with it and think it will affect the ref's decisions going forward in the game!Kai wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2023 2:57 pmCan't imagine how much mansplaining they've had to put up with.

If they encircle the ref and give him scorn all the ref has to say is "anyone but the captain who is within 10 feet of me in 10 seconds will be booked". And if they don't retreat book them and if the still don't retreat, second booking. It will take 1 week for the message to get across.
"The housemates of amateur player Tim Pieters all bet €15 on him to score and for Hercules to knock Ajax out of the cup. They won €11.265 each, amounting to a total of over €150.000."
What an incredible story for all these random students
