I support neither Liverpool or Arsenal but every time they play each other it reminds me of this and the immortal Brian Moore. As a neutral it was one of the great footballing nights that only English football can provide (unless your a Liverpool fan of course).

That was the best Arsenal side I've seen at Anfield since the Vieira, Henry days.

Man City the real winners of last night's game. Going to be an interesting title race..

Not sure how long Howe has left at Newcastle, Saudi's weren't happy not even qualifying for the Europa League, there out the League Cup and will be nowhere near the top 4 again.

They over performed last season coupled with under performances by the likes of Liverpool and Spurs. Saudi's will want a big name in IMO and sooner rather than later. Wouldn't be surprised to see Mourinho at the Toon.

Suspend monkey forgot to unsuspend the Sheff U match odds market after the last goal.

Eddie Howe has been fantastic for me, this was always likely to happen with so many key injuries this season, plus the Tonali gambling addiction saga.

Nobody can deny the massive improvement in the the style of play and the attacking mentality etc.

Mourinho is washed and has been for years. Football has moved on.

Liverpool will lose Salah to the African nations shortly. Time for others to step up on the goals front !

Almost look forward to this, need a preview of life after Salah, to see how the team adapts. I think Harvey gets to fill in.

Mo's numbers are still insane but I've not been happy with his performances this season, there's been a few signs of aging. Although he's being forced more wide because Trend has to invert into midfield, so Mo ends up as a wingback very far from goal. At least this has expanded his passing game more, he's had some ridiculous passes/assists.

Looks like Tierney has heard the early "**** off Tierney" chant from the away end

Another wasteful and flaccid performance, they just can't seem to get it up against the likes of Luton and Burnley
