Held up on nearly all previous starts to be pushed 3 lengths clear to try to make the running. Everything I was given and they tried. Just didn work.
His losing run since his last win is growing .. so not horse he was . But he hasn't won on the AW and was a far better horse on the turf . So maybe if his turf rating falls he might win a fast ground handicap at somewhere like Brighton .. if as you say they thought he had a lot in hand , then clearly he's been showing something at home . Is he ain't on the course .. always another day !!

There's no need to feel embarrassed just because you tipped a loser - they can't all win. :)

If only I didn't need to eat I would have traded that race. The last two at Woolly have been pretty good. :D

Struggled with my exits today.
Everything's gone so far I've got no skin in the game by the end cos I've been taking the profits on the way.

However I expect this horse to wear cheekpieces next time and I think it will start to make the running, but that just my opinion.

Runs on Thursday. Has headgear back on. Always nice to know I had their plan roughly right.... will it make the running though lets wait and see.

Although the pre-race turnover last Feb was over 500million for the first time and up around 35million on the Feb average

Dallas, can you present monthly averages based on your data?

I'm surprised the difference between February and the summer months isn't bigger, when you compare the mid-week void of February to all the big weekday meetings summertime.

No Ebor! I thought that would have been in the top ten.

So the highest turnover for a flat handicap only makes 34 on the list, behind the Martin Pipe Handicap Hurdle.
