Surely the ref should have blown if he felt there was an injury of merit? You can't stop unless the ref instructs you too? I'm guessing the villa player wasn't seriously injured?

If there was a head injury, then sure. Wonder what would of happened if it was the last game of the season and We/Leeds needed 3pts to get promoted? (Have a feeling, 1-0 would have been protected at all costs)

Also, any idea if Betfair was suspended while all this was going on? Can imagine if not, a few cheeky traders may have got in quick...

- Walsall stay up if they win & Plymouth & Southend don't
- Plymouth stay up if they win & Southend/Wimbledon don't
- Southend stay up if Plymouth & Walsall don't pick up points
- Wimbledon stay up if they win

League Two:

- Mansfield are up if they draw/win
- MK Dons are up if they win
- Newport in play-offs with win
- Exeter in play-offs if they win & Newport don't
- Colchester in play-offs if they win & Newport & Exeter don't
- Carlisle in play-offs if they win & the 3 others lose

and at the bottom:
- Macclesfield stay up if they win or should stay up with a point
- Notts County stay up if they win and Macclesfield lose
- Notts County stay up if they win, Macclesfield draw and they overturn an eight goal deficit
