The in-play harness markets for the SE QLD tracks are dominated by tracksiders, and they blindly jump in to lay at any price whenever anything gallops. That horse was a $10 chance at worst when it stopped galloping. Offering $590 in the hope that it's going to keep galloping is legitimately insane, it wasn't even a bad break. Shouldn't have been $1.10 when it crossed the line either, a small margin but it was obvious from 50m out. Guessing they drained their accounts laying it and had nothing left to back it at the end. Normally (especially at Redcliffe) that hits $1.01 easily.
There are a few teams of 2 or 3 all fighting for the scraps so they often jump in way too early in an attempt to beat the other teams. One of my bots is set up specifically to exploit this, it only triggers about once every 25 races but it's been quite lucrative.
Not sure how fast the Tab app is.
Got it to work on android Galaxy phone. Using an app called Airdroid Cast, send the pics from phone to a desktop (to get bigger pics).
Compared to a live Satelite feed : Wellington, it’s 4 secs behind.
I have a video, but can’t upload as too big.

iOS is quite a bit quicker. Still well behind the raw sat feed though obviously.aussie wrote: ↑Fri Mar 28, 2025 2:08 amNot sure how fast the Tab app is.

The fog is playing havoc with the in play markets at Toowoomba. Some crazy prices being offered.

2 horse race coming up in Launceston, you don't often see that down under. Would be funny if one of them galloped at the start and the other was $1.01 with a mile to go lol.

I did some quick maths after the race and there looked to be about 50k traded over the odds of 200-1 on the fav.. I didn't even see how much at lower odds before it disappeared.. one hell of a ride for someone

That was the one that the fav galloped hopelessly and then ripped up the sprint lane and went under by a head or something? That was wild! Definitely some sphincters clenching during that race.
Just looked at the results, was a short half head, even worse for the free money layers!

Barsby super accurate in my book too, so him calling it the winner was a real cherry on top

I was literally just typing that, I didn't have the sound on so didn't realise he'd called it the winner. And you are right, he's the best caller in the country (along with Matt Hill), he gets those close finishes right basically every time. The dog of ry wrote: ↑Mon Mar 31, 2025 10:34 amBarsby super accurate in my book too, so him calling it the winner was a real cherry on top

The tracksiders got hosed again at Redcliffe R3. 3.2k matched at 1.01 on something that was going to be touch and go all the way down the straight, and was gone at the 50m mark. Was an outsider too. Really is a race to the bottom on AU in-play stuff now

1.01 done, and about 3 grand at 1.05 or less. Might be some angry driving leaving the Reddy carpark tonight
