You're missing the context of the actual interview. She latched on to a gaff by Rodgers and he flounced off with the "good girl" comment. This is what women have been complaining about for yonks. A bloke doesn't like the scenario and diminshes a woman. I've asked some female friends/relatves about this.
Some said if what was their Dad where they'd done well, it was great.
Some said if it was just some random bloke they would have thought "who the F*** are you".
I would suggest Rodgers falls between those two camps.
