Big gamble on yard newcomber Navajo storm.
Probably wouldn't have won but gap closed up on him, killed momentum. Finished in the bottom few. :D

De Sousa wins on Oyster card he gets the best out of those types .

Does such big price move a common thing for long distance aw flat races? Lost ten ticks profit cause of this move.

I see moves like that in all sorts of low grade races. I actually laid it at 10.5 but because I was going for a quick scalp and used a relatively large stake I had to get out quick when the price dropped below 10. A more sensible stakes and I could have been looking at 17 - 19.

Am I the only one who struggle to make decent profits the last months? Yes, I know winter is harder than summer. But when I compare it to last years, I'm far away from those profits. I'm afraid to enter positions because there are so much unexpacted moves. And it can happen everytime and on every horse. Resistance points get broken so easily and so much fake money which disappear from one moment to the other.

Priced this up 7/2 overnight and expected it to fly out come post time as even the dopes would see it sets a shite standard as fav. Wasn't quite the drift expected in the end

Some penny shaving tosser just took 50p of my 1.32 back bet on Count Octave in one penny bets, turning my laptop into a machine gun!

In case you don't know what I'm on about, a penny on a 1.32 winner returns a penny so it's a free lay bet. If Betfair still had their email service I would report him!

Count Octave won and the salami slicing cost me seven pence. I've reported the offender to Betfair using the chat service. Such behaviour could potentially result if having your account closed.

Whilst I sympathise with people who feel the need to resort to such desperate measures to make a few pence, it really is a nuisance.

Have any rules actually been broken here?

Yes, if you search for 'penny shaving' in the terms and conditions, salami slicers have their profits confiscated and can have their accounts closed.

Potentially a backer could unwittingly have £10 on a 1.45 winner in one penny bets and get his £10 back, but the real nuisance is the sound effect when each bet is matched making your computer sound like a machine gun.

Think this is the condition your referring to

Taking advantage of rounding off

You are not permitted to place bets or try to place bets which deliberately take advantage of Betfair rounding off to the nearest penny or cent . Any winnings obtained from such practices (also known as ‘penny shaving’ or ‘salami slicing’) shall be forfeited and may result in your account being permanently closed.
