I do not use the SP on every race. I only use it as a safety for bets that have not been matched prior to the market going inplay. Though when I do use the SP it is only on the odd race the issues are happening, most are fine. So it seems to be an intermittent problem. PeterLe are you manually using SP or is it your automation? If you are actually watching the market you would not notice any issues.

Hi
Im using excel and then Guardian Automation converts any unmatched bets to SP just before the off

The 14:00 race at Goodwood was particularly bad for the SP process, it actually left parts of my orders showing on the ladder as unmatched orders. I had to close the market and reopen it in order to sort this out. The SP process was very slow. Anyone else see these problems?
Thank you for your reply Euler. I took SP on the 2:10 race to test it and that seemed to be ok for me. So it is odd that it is not every race and even on the races it does happen on such as the 2.00 race it did not effect you but it did me and your friend.
I struck up dialogue with @BetfairCS if anybody wants to chip in

I am not on twitter so I can not join in the conversation.
The 1620 race was very scary for me. Due to the lack of pictures I had my bets set to take SP but they showed as not being matched and just sitting in the market unmatched with an exposure. So I submitted a new bet, I closed the market and reopened it and it turned out the original bet had actually been matched so now I had to get out of the second bet I placed. Very scary and lucky to come away with a small profit. If I was using big stakes it could be very scary.

I hope they stick with it; the last couple of days have been very good for me
(not sure if it has anything to do with SP; I do take SP on unmatched bets but it's hard to see if that explains the difference. Also it's not like the difference is humongous, but very welcome)
And as an aside: is it "the last couple of days have been very well for me", or "very good"?
