The Russian argument that it cant border with countries who have Nuclear weapons is rather stupid. It has a border with North Korea and that guy is a complete nut job. How come Russia doesnt invade them ?

I was gonna post that North Korea doesn't border Russia, but I had a quick look at the map first.

Probably because they don't have nazis killing everyone at the border like in Donbas thus didn't feel the need to intervene like they did with Ukraine, only to try stop the carnage which has been ongoing since 2014

Probably because North Korea doesn’t have an estimated 2 trillion $ worth of natural gas reserves that threaten Russia’s income stream from the West.

The conspiracy theory isn't the existence of the Azov battalllion, that was covered way back in the thread. The CT is that the existence of a Neo Nazi faction in the Ukrainian military is the part of the reason for the invasion. Putin has used that and the possibility of Ukraine joining NATO as a pretext for the invasion. It's just a good old fashioned land grab pure and simple.

That should have read... The CT is the idea that the Azov battalion are roaming the countryside murdering Russian civilians.... Putin is using their existence as a pretext for the invasion etc..etc...
