Some further information on this issue.
I have just loaded up BA basic next to BA Pro and when the Pro freezes up (exactly every 15 mins) BA basic carries on refreshing as normal
Something really odd going on?
Betfair API Down
Now tried on laptop with same connection that I was using on my PC.
Works fine.
So it seems like a computer issue but it is affecting a number of people at exactly the same time. Not really usable for me with a freeze every 15 mins.
If Peter, Support or anybody can help it would be much appreciated as its driving me mad! I have tried so many things to resolve but with no luck.

We've been chatting about it internally this evening and trying to think what could be causing the issue. We will look at it again in the morning. Maybe we can find some way of isolating it. That's the key to working out what it is, to trigger it on command / find a pattern.
This is still happening today and having spoken to another trader who uses other software they are also seeing it at exactly the same time. One is on a wifi connection and another is on wired, different ISP. The only common factor is the Betfair API and the time it happens. The ping remains fine for both of us when it is happening. So it must be a Betfair issue. If you are not looking at the ladders in tensely you could easily miss it. It happens like clock work every 15 minutes.
so far i have freezes of between 7 and 11 secs at
13:43
13:57
14:12
14:27
14:42
i am expecting the next at 14:57.
i have no idea what the cause is; just when and for how long( more or less) they will happen and for how long, and hence how to deal with this anoying problem.
