No joke. Actually have tears running down my face.

Wrote £200 treble down in bookies.

Peggies Sue 14/1
Glamorous Rocket 3/1
Enmeshing 11/1

Changed my mind last second took out glamorous rocket and did the double.

And 3 singles. So hopefully concellation here. :(

Oh no. 110k loss from a split second decision.

Went with the two inside info and left out Glamorous Rocket. I cannot believe i did that.

I know Enmeshing is going to win here!!

With tipping like that, unless you have discipline issues the money will come. You've got the hard bit all you need is time.

People may say I am sick or greedy even. I know just won a serious amount of money but I knew Enmeshing was going win. This horse had been the plan since the winter. Did mention it to you guys some time ago.

Think I’m being silly but generally gutted.

WOW, todays prefinish inplay is on fire! Such a juicy price moves! 8-)
Feels like compensation for yesterdays sh*t.

Don't mean to kick a man when he's down, but I would expect you to be experienced enough by now to either not allow these things to happen, or not let them to get to you.

I felt as sick as a parrot the time I changed my mind about having 50 pence on Soba (18/1, 1981 Stewards Cup), and £2 on Touching Wood (7/1, 1982 St. Ledger), missing out on the equivalent of several weeks pocket money. But I learnt shortly after that to be decisive - make a decision after careful thought and stick to it. Changing your mind about a bet is as good as not even considering it!

Yes thanks for the advise.

Just I’d been waiting for Enmeshing info for months and was put off it and told not to bet it for a few times.

Fancied one horse myself Glorious Rocket and just decided it wasn’t worth it if it got beat so took it out.

I had £1 on Soba that day, and didn't change my mind!

Here you are, got the year wrong, it was 1982. So it happened twice in 5-6 weeks but I've never let it get to me again. :)
