I saw that and thought it was definitely a weird notion to have. I can't see a defender let alone a full back winning it for a long time unless they're a World Cup or Euros winner. Cannavaro won after winning the 2006 World Cup, Sammer after winning Euro 96.

I'd disagree with him being a useless right back though, I think he's more a reluctant right back in that he always wants to get further up the field and hates tracking back. I've said it before and I'll say it again, after Virgil had his knee injury and lost a yard or 2 of pace, Trent and Robbo were both found out to be dodgy as fuck. Always too far upfield and when there was a counter, Virgil no longer had the extra pace to cover their asses being out of position.
