I've just heard on the news in South Africa, cigarettes and alcohol are banned, as is going out to exercise!!!

Looks like we've got it easy. Over here drug dealing and going out to buy drugs must be essential travel to keep people happy in their homes. :)
I wouldn't want to live where I do if there was no drugs & that's not because I use them, its because i couldn't bare to live around the people who regularly do, which where I live is pretty much everyone. I have 3 drug dealers in my street alone & know of many more on my estate, my kids go to school to with kids whose parents cant get dressed to take them & the same guy turns up at my neighbour's house on a daily basis, knocks on the front door says "nice one bruv" and swiftly moves on. My neighbour also grows his own weed so I'd imagine it's not weed that the guy is dropping off.

There are so many names and codes now for individual drugs that it would fly well over my head. :)

Had a look at the deaths state by state in Aus and Tasmania has by far the worst casualty rate per capita, hopefully not but seeing that you'd maybe expect things to get a lot worse when they reach their winter, like a lot of other countries who've escape it so far

Probably a bit misleading as most cases to Australia are returned travellers, very few local transmission, and most deaths are now from those returning from cruise ships.

If that's the case then you'd expect NSW and Vic then to be miles ahead of Tas, but they're not

I hope he's got the sense to take a few days off to rest. I've heard C19 causes extreme tiredness and you need 12-14 hours sleep or in bed. Goes without saying he wasn't getting that before hospitalization and looked pretty shattered and shaking when he was last outside No. 10 clapping.

Two days without going out now. One more and I should be in line for a medal. :D
From your past posts, do you seriously expect us to believe it's unprecented?
Just had a parcel delivered to my local corner shop. It's harder to stay in than you think. :)

Sad isn't it? The Goodies were really popular as I was growing up.
I fear these announcements will be a regular thing over the next few weeks.

Sadder still that there will be no full funerals or memorial services for these much-loved people. Well actually, anyone who dies is much-loved by the people who know them. :)

I think thats one of the crulest parts of Covid-19, if your unfortunate enough to suffer hightened symtoms once your taken to hospital thats the last time you could see your family, and for the family they have to cope with that then not being able to say a proper goodbye should the worst happen.

I can't begin to imagine how it must feel for anyone on either side once a family member is admitted
