Steve, you taken you Mrs comments out of context; that's not what she meant when she says she wished you well well hung!

Only managed to do a few races later on but a complete disaster for me again, can't seem to get anything right at the moment.

I'm wondering if it might be worthwhile getting rid of the Betfair graphs, they seem to be leading me in the wrong direction every time.

Try just the ladders Marc - I can see things better with them

Bet angel is great all round but i would say the ladder is the best thing on it.

I would reaffirm what I said yesterday, these are difficult markets which are difficult to predict. That was also Peter's opinion on his Twitter feed. Don't beat yourself up about it.

I'd recommend you try and establish a definable strategy that long term produces a profit. It might be that on a particular setup the graphs prove useful for entry points.

I use to participate in every market using the same strategy week after week and it's just a waste of time. There are some markets that are almost random and others that have more stability and show fairly consistent characteristics.

Interesting card this afternoon. Six class 3 races, but most are short odds. Field sizes seem to be quite short at the moment.

Hopefully there will more real money about than in previous days with the quality of racing and it's possibly a day looking out for genuine momentum on steamers/drifts on the short favourites. That will be my strategy anyway.

Anyone else feel the markets are bit more stable than earlier in the week?

Taunton 15:10 & Southwell 15:20 two consecutive races where it's ideal to let you profits run. Much easier to identify when there are no crappy bots constantly trying to manipulate the market.

Please tell me most people lost money on Comical Red in the 15:40. Turns like a flipping beast again.

The price had been coming in an hour before off, but the layers slowly moved it back out. But it held its price at 3's as liquidity gathered and then the WOM was too heavy and the price dropped.

I am guessing you layed it two minutes out as it moved out (totally fair accessment), but I would say the price held so strong at 3's that it was difficult to tell which way it would move next.

I actually backed it as it was going through 3.0, it got down to 2.86 and then the fav got smashed sending the 2nd fav out to 3.2 in a couple of seconds. Just couldn't get out again.

Don't worry about it. Two close favourites always likely to be volatile.
