Plymouth 0 Burnley 5 at HT. Mayne Rooney wasn't the problem after all.

1.09 on Under 3.5 for the MAN U match, I just briefly saw the word "infinity" to lay on the ladder!

This match was mental last night: -

Also contained one of the most bizarre goals I've ever seen.
Ex-Leeds player Raphinha in the mix!

Still an underrated player, Leeds really unearthed a gem there

Flick's been getting the best out of him this season, Barca definitely one of the teams to avoid later

They seem to be building something special there, despite collecting all the freebie players due to being skint and the circus off the pitch

Maybe he checks the Club Elo website....He could be right though.

Forgiving Matt Busby the dip in 1962 (munich air crash 1958) the team's comparative Elo rating v Tommy Docherty in the 70's and Ron Atkinson in the 90's. is clear to see.

Certainly the worst in the last 4 years

So Man United aren't particularly bad at the moment, just reverted to their long term average. A bit like people who insist mortgage interest rates are "sky high" right now because they are only comparing them to recent history.

Recency bias can influence thinking for sure.

Brilliant chart James ... always knew the figures but didn't have a clue where to find them. Bringing it back to football it's like the "best ever player" comparisons, people can only vote/give opinions on the players they witnessed so "... in my generation" should be added.

Arsenal seem to be on a bit of a drift, any reasons? appreciate they have a few injury concerns but seems a little odd? or have i just missed something in the team news?

Odegaard is out with illness and was expected to play that's way its worth keeping an eye on the team news for unexpected omissions

I'm not aware of any data for this but I feel they are the PL club with the worst scoring opportunities:scored ratio! By opportunity I mean where they were expected to score, not long distance opportunist shots.

No intent to play the ball. Just the man. Very late. Cynical. Raked his studs down the leg rather than just a trip. Just a trip and it's a yellow. Just clip him normally no need to leave the studs in.

There is an angle from above showing the deliberate downward pressure of the right boot. Serious foul play.

Cynical trip to stop a breakaway yellow card nothing more, it's a lonely club to be in you, Michael Oliver and the PGMOL ;)
