Don't know why Cumbria, Dunblane and Hungerfood are being mentioned on this thread.
Anyway, in all 3 cases, part of the blame lies with the different Police Forces involved. None of the 3 individuals should have had firearms licenses issued and/or renewed.
Cumbria
- Derek Bird had previous convictions including a suspended prison sentence. WTF!!!
Dunblane
- Thomas Hamilton had a number of complaints made against him for inappropriate behaviour towards young boys. He was blacklisted by the Scouts association.
- There had been previous interactions with Hamilton by the Police but this evidence was sealed for 100 years by the Cullen enquiry. WTF!!!!
Hungerford
- Michael Ryan's gun club warned the Police about his behaviour several times but the information was ignored at the time. WTF!!!

It's because this anger has been based upon clashes in culture, as opposed to skin colour. Islam represents a clash of cultures more than anyone. Not just in UK, but right across the western world. Go on social media, and you'll see people from other countries saying the same thing. The initial rumour that this lad was a Muslim was incorrect, but by then the protests had already got moving
Islam does not represent a clash of culture.LeTiss wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 10:51 amIt's because this anger has been based upon clashes in culture, as opposed to skin colour. I've worked with Muslims and they are superb. Don't conflate Islam with the radicals exploiting Islam for their own agenda. They are a tiny minority.
It's the radicals who have the greatest influence. That's always been the case.....not all Germans were Nazis, for examplegreenmark wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 11:02 amIslam does not represent a clash of culture.LeTiss wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 10:51 amIt's because this anger has been based upon clashes in culture, as opposed to skin colour. No, the anger is based on the EDL's hatred of Muslims and using any excuse to start a fight. Anyone with half a brain ignores "rumours", but the EDL will start and spread them for their own agenda.LeTiss wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 10:51 amIt's because this anger has been based upon clashes in culture, as opposed to skin colour. The protest got moving but it didn't stop when it was clear the rumours were false, which just shows it had nothing to do with the stabbings.
I think the point was, there weren't protests on the street demanding, kick white people out of Britain, send them back to Europe.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 10:50 amDon't know why Cumbria, Dunblane and Hungerfood are being mentioned on this thread.

That's what a clash of cultures is
Riots often occur in reaction to a grievance or out of dissent. Historically, riots have occurred due to poverty, unemployment, poor living conditions, governmental oppression, taxation or conscription, conflicts between ethnic groups (race riot) or religions (e.g., sectarian violence, pogrom), the outcome of a sporting event (e.g., sports riot, football hooliganism) or frustration with legal channels through which to air grievances.[2]
Loads of reasons to riot. Choose your flavour.

There was allot of peaceful protest, mainly by women, allot of them raised concerns with their MP's and GP's. All of which helped get further firearm controls brought in and legislation changed.Derek27 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 11:16 amI think the point was, there weren't protests on the street demanding, kick white people out of Britain, send them back to Europe.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 10:50 amDon't know why Cumbria, Dunblane and Hungerfood are being mentioned on this thread.

And because of those 3 idiots I had to surrender my AK47 7.62mm Semi-Auto and Berreta 9mm Semi-Auto.

Have you ever met a Muslim? I've been down the pub with a Muslim and didn't even know until he mentioned it an hour in.ForFolksSake wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 11:19 amHave you ever been down the pub for a pint with any of the muslims you have worked with ?greenmark wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 11:02 amIslam does not represent a clash of culture.LeTiss wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 10:51 am

English people are vegetarians as well so you can't invite anyone of any creed, colour or religion for a nice fillet stake without checking.

Gambling (Maysir): Any form of gambling or betting is prohibited.
Yes. They drank soft drinks and when I asked whether me drinking alcohol was offensive they said of course not.ForFolksSake wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 11:19 amHave you ever been down the pub for a pint with any of the muslims you have worked with ?greenmark wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 11:02 amIslam does not represent a clash of culture.LeTiss wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 10:51 am

And no. Never did invite, but was invited and it was outstanding.
That is what multiculturism is.
