Didnt get a screenshot but the wad they used on swiss dream was enormous, looked to me like they took on a huge liability on that one, price would've been quite a few points shorter if they hadn't been around

Here you go:

Credit where credit is due - it takes some nerve to do that in such a market.

Spot the spoofer, like spot the ball, only easier.

DownR 16:15

Someone dumping £20000 into a market with 60 secs to the off which has only hundreds at each price waiting to be matched makes me a sad panda.

When will i learn to use stop losses more frequently?

We have started carefully profilng these types of races in great depth. We want to get a detailed understanding of what is going on, not just where the money has arrived but how its being matched. As it is so visible, that's possible. If they were a little more circumspect about what they do, we probably wouldn't have a clue, as it is we are building up a very good picture now.

Just goes to show that one person can be bigger than the market. horse sweating buckets and should have drifted yet 3 lots of £30k can control the market:

Yup fully agree - I decided to take a decent position inplay as I was quite confident once the manipulators money had gone it would go to a more realistic price. I think the reason they stacked up so much was because they got laid on a large chunk after Dave Nevo's comments and the pictures.

If I were a straight Layer I would have been smashing it up at that price given the state of the horse.

I have started to take more and more interest in the distortions caused by this sort of activity in the market.
