We have started carefully profilng these types of races in great depth. We want to get a detailed understanding of what is going on, not just where the money has arrived but how its being matched. As it is so visible, that's possible. If they were a little more circumspect about what they do, we probably wouldn't have a clue, as it is we are building up a very good picture now.

Yup fully agree - I decided to take a decent position inplay as I was quite confident once the manipulators money had gone it would go to a more realistic price. I think the reason they stacked up so much was because they got laid on a large chunk after Dave Nevo's comments and the pictures.
If I were a straight Layer I would have been smashing it up at that price given the state of the horse.
