Just watched the second half ... reminded me very much of that 10 man Arsenal game at the Etihad early in the season. Well played Palace. I think the way Arsenal played MC in the second half that day showed the PL teams how to play MC. Whilst the Arsenal game was only the 5th in the PL season so pre that game is a small sample it does look possible ...
Where "APPG" = Average Points Per Game (reset after the Arsenal game) and "AGDPG" = Average Goal Difference Per Game (again reset after the Arsenal Game)
Yes, MC recovered after the Arsenal game but then maybe their opponents thought about it and acted.

Forest 2.52 to win at West Ham today looks value. Both teams poor in form, but Forest the better team and simply have to win. West Ham nothing to play for.

They are getting a guard of honour at every game.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Sun May 11, 2025 4:29 pmIs it a new thing where the champions elect get a guard of honour at every game? Seems a bit much...

Chelsea
Arsenal
and now Brighton.
I don't remember this before. Am I wrong? Is it usual practice?
