Yes, I just got beaten-up on the last at Leopardstown, but I had the time of my life. :?

think it's because I'm able to take lots of positions due to the fast-paced moves which keeps my itchy trigger finger satisfied without over-trading

and if the result is a loss, oh well, generally i'm satisfied anyway because the majority of my entries felt of value

p.s. There's been a myriad of well-supported horses today. Has anyone noticed a pattern there or is it just a coincidence?

Fair points, just frustrating.

I think racing should cut the number of races and invest more in what remains. Spread too thin and it's sometimes a bit embarrassing to see the lack of quality out there.

The real issue is the distribution and classification of races. They've been tinkering with the four-runner novice chase problem for years, they introduced handicaps where first-time chasers can be handicapped on their hurdling form, increased the number of intermediate chases, but they still haven't got to the bottom of it, and have left top trainers with a couple of good novices forced to race against each other because there's nothing else to run in.

No doubt we can look forward to plenty more 2-3 runner races.

I really enjoy the Australian markets, for the simple reason that I don't lose down there. :D

Not a huge increase on the previous years, wonder what the horses in training figure will be for next year ?

I applaud anybody who is making money pre off at Ascot. Losing my profits from the other meetings on the races. That 16:10 is my last!
