Two 1.01's matched in the feature race.
I'm slightly surprised that either of them was matched at 1.01.

That was one of the best Saturday afternoons for a long time, I thought. The races went off to time which really helped the flow of the day and the fill rate seemed to be excellent across all the meetings. Ascot traded very well I found.

Just a heads up that as well as Glorious Goodwiod next week, there is the Galway Festival, starts a Monday and is on for 7 days through till Sunday. Three evening and four afternoon meetings . A combination of Flat and NH racing, including Thursdays €300,000 ‘Galway Guinness Hurdle Handicap’, which is the richest NH race run in Ireland ... Should be some lively markets !!

Don't know why they have to have Galway clash with Goodwood - there's nothing next week.

May not be able to trade to big stakes but can still pick up some small profits with small stakes. This was achieved with £10 stakes.

Also inrunning was fun, 1.05 loser and 120 winner in the first. The arabs run very differently to thoroughbreds in general.
