I just happened to be watching those prices on that last race..I could work out why it peaked at 1000 and then dropped back down..
Anyway, Im sure there will be some delighted and some not!
Three traded under 2 too

The fav fell at the last according to twitter, £43 matched at 1000. I don't bother with Irish races but might have a look this week..

Ive just been watching the prices in play.
The graph is a bit misleading to be honest. It looks like it was a spike, whereas there was a lot of money available at odds of 250 to 1000 for a long time (£22 avail at 1000 for a good 8 secs)

I really can't see how someone would risk £20K to win a maximum of £20? I know we have cross matching, but I dont think cross matching can affect associated odd above 100?
Someone quick on the mouse could have made a few quid there!

If you spend some time on betfair forums there are a few guys who admit to laying at high prices.
