Hi Dallas -

1. I am looking to bet around the favourite pre-race.

At present I have the trigger to fire only once - because I only want one bet in the market, on the favourite.

If another horse became favourite (after my bet was triggered for the initial favourite) would the bot trigger again for the new favourite? Or does 'allow rule to trigger 1' mean I will only ever get one bet fired into the market regardless?

I have had the odd time (I did not log details) where I think a second bet may have gone into market hence my question...could be rare glitch / my fault)

2. I understand that my bet won't fire into market (with appropriate setting) if the market is suspended at the time. I assume that the bet will trigger as soon as the market is unsuspended - as long as I have enough time allowed for in the before/after event timer.

There is a situation where I might want to bet very close to the off time - a small window . If the market was suspended during this period, maybe there is a chance my bet wouldn't fire into the market. Bearing in mind that I still only want one bet fired into market - could I set trigger to fire e.g. 5 times - but use things like 'Matched / Unmatched bet amount='x'' or 'Number of matched / unmatched bets = 0' to ensure that even though the bot is triggering (in order to be more certain of my bet hitting the market) only one bet ever actually makes it to the market.

Thanks - I know I can test all this - but you could save me time on the simplest solution..(also worry there is a chance that with the options available I may end up with conflicting conditions.

Your help appreciated.

Thanks
Dan

If you set to trigger "1 times" for "every selection" then it will trigger once for every selection that ever meet the set criteria.

If you set to trigger "1 times" for "any selection" then it will trigger once only on the first selection to meet the set criteria.

I'm having a related problem.

I've got a one-click screen with various columns that trigger bets of various sizes on any runner. I've also got a column called Stake which is supposed to sum matchedbackstake + unmatchedbackstake.

The Stake column doesnt seem to capture any BSP bets though. Are BSP bets categorized as matched or unmatched (or not at all, for the purposes of conditions?

I'm just guessing, but perhaps a BSP bet doesn't count as either 'matched' or 'unmatched' until the market goes into play?

How about if you do it the old way, and set an unmatched bet first then set it to 'take SP on all unmatched'?

Thanks James. That's a good workaround if required.

Incidentally the SP bets are counted on Guardian as Matched before the start of the event, but not on my SV.
