Nick Luck on course just reported on RTV that there appears to be no threat of any issues with regards to the weather. Said it is due to be wet and windy but shouldn't pose any threat to horse, human or the event itself.

If everything goes ahead as planned then I think it may be worth laying a few favourites.

Yes I think that would be a good approach, the going is likely to change quite a bit over the course of the meeting and a good bit of rain is expected on Day 1 so I would be expecting there to be a decent amount of movement in prices.

Looked a bad fall for Richard Johnson just then at Taunton in the 2:30pm. Surprised he is riding there today tbh.

Best of luck everyone. Let's hope Garath steers clear of Cheltenham and all the horses and jockeys come back safe and sound.

Would you like to see the charts from last year?

Well my prep has gone terrible for day 1 - had one of my worse ever nights sleep last night and unfortunately it wasn't due to the excitement of Cheltenham

Hoping I can stay alert enough for it all, bucket of coffee at the ready!

Good luck everyone but for those who don't have a good one, don't forget it is only a few days out of 365 days. In 6 months time you will have long since forgotten how you did more than likely and it is unlikely, bar for a few such as Peter, going to have a massive impact on your year end total. So don't be hard on yourself if things don't go as you hoped they would, these kind of markets are most certainly not for everyone.

BetDaq did it last year for Cheltenham and Betfair followed with Aintree. Surprised neither of them has promoted a competition this time around.

Looking forward to waiting behind 100 grand
Have you looked at the place markets? I made more in the Place markets last year (x5) than in the win markets. It may be worth checking out.
