Many on here, myself included, love and couldn't endorse more the use of data and past-market analysis. That being said though, it's evident that there are so many approaches and strategies and characters floating around these markets. Not one person can claim that they are right; more power to the lad. Glad somebody is making daft money, gives me hope that one day I can get there too.
Must be a lot of losers on here then.

I'm sure it must be possible to make decent money without API software, data or any analysis because I used to make a few quid (literally) to small stakes back in the day when I just had the Betfair website to place bets. It strikes me that he's one in the handful of people I've met who thinks their method of success is the only possible way to success, and anyone who doesn't follow the same steps is destined for failure.

Would have to be financial markets, I would have thought and then at least an 8 figure trading account?Dallas wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 11:25 amWhat markets and sort of stakes was he using to average half a million per month?vankancisco wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2019 10:26 pmHe was a big earner, averaging around half a million per month.
Taking FX as an example, I would have thought at that size you would also be too big for most brokers and have to to trade directly on the interbank markets via a large bank.

Shall we have an anonymous poll?spreadbetting wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 2:11 pmI'd guess 95%

Sure you get a lot of losers on Betfair but this forum will have a much higher than average quoter of winners.

Why not , can't imagine anyone lies on anonymous polls or forums so it's bound to be accurate
