As you might expect, I have a view. If you're self-employed and have a successful business I would treat it as a priority and keep working as hard as you do. I don't see the value of quitting or reducing time on it to make the odd 20 pence football trading - children's toys is where your natural ability lies. As for working 7 days a week, you're probably spending far more time on this forum than you think and will be heading for a heart attack if you continue to spend all your spare time in the pursuit of money.JustLukeYou wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 5:33 pmI do have one question which people may have a view on.
For the previous 3 years I have been self employed selling children's toys into main land Europe. My revenue is typically around £250,000 a year and it has given valuable experience in identifying sound investments and how to focus on making a profitable ROI and how to avoid wasting money. So my question is, does anyone believe that having a background in being self-employed and running a small business can help them with football trading?
I am looking to move into football trading as I now find myself working 7 days week and concerns about the impact of Brexit on my accounting systems in which I will have to pay VAT to around 10 different countries across Europe.
I agree with what Kai says. You've already had two threads locked (one of which wasn't your own) and could be in danger of being barred from the forum by one of the moderators. Take a break, and good luck with the business.
