Yep the best way to fix a problem is sometimes to just make the problem go away, but the real skill is then selling that as a feature rather than a limitation. You'll have a much more robust bot if it's not so dependant on what you can't control or reliably predict.... according to the sales literature

The betfair timer starts when the match first goes in play and ends when the match finishes. It does not detect when the HT break commences. So if you create a bot to trigger on the 55th min, you have to add 15mins for the HT break plus any stoppages in the first half. An old rule of thumb is 2 minutes injury time but recently we have seen injury time as long as 10 minutes.

This has a massive impact on your 2nd half time specific strategies.

You now have 2 options.
You can use the half time match odds market , if that markets closed then its half time.
or
You can use the bet delay. I posted a file here
