All is well now, my ladder now looks identical to the screenshots.

It was made in V1.56 so will work in all version newer than that

It sounds like you are not importing one or more of the files in the correct place, there are screenshots in the OP showing where each needs to be imported.
If you still cant get them all imported please post a full screenshot with the error message so I can see which file your are importing into which area of BA
