They are foreigners. The game isn't in their blood, their heart and souls.......they don't remember going to their first game as a kid, because they never went at all. They underestimate how the average fan of those 6 clubs will feel about this. They are about to have a rude awakening

The English clubs in question should be told they have 24 hours to confirm they not taking part, if not then all relegated Tuesday morning.

If what you say is correct, it's flipping atrocious!
I might have to do what a friend of mine did and stick a pin in a map of his local area and then support them. And cancel my Sky Sport sub.
Its laid out further down this article:

UEFA has already proposed a revamp of the Champions Lge so I'm hoping this is just an arm twisting exercise to get a bigger slice of the pie. That article also states in the proposed 'Super League' that clubs would still play in their domestic competition so if the leagues stand their ground and ban these clubs from domestic competition it would be a non starter.
Safe to say whatever club you support there can't be many fans who want this.

Was just thinking how this leaves some open bets in the Premier League market. Nothing will come into effect this season but next season will be interesting!

I wonder how many English players will revolt against their clubs decision to do this. If they don’t then that’s the end of them playing for the England team.
I guess they won’t care and just confirm what everyone already knew, bunch of greedy bastards.

I still don't believe it will actually happen, its effectively short term gain for long term pain.
If you're an owner looking to sell then fine but Real Madrid, Barca don't even have owners and the damage to the brand of all these clubs would be irreparable so I still think its a bargaining tactic

Money talks.
As already said, the big owners, (including Arsenal - Stan Kroenke) will want it for sure, especially Arsenal as they will miss out on european football next year. (unless they win the Europa League, currently second favourites). Add in Tottingham (Ossie Ardiles), in the same boat as Arsenal, bet they can't wait! Liverpool and Juventus won't want the Europa League football next year either.
IMO, it comes down to short-term gain for the elite clubs at the expense of the existing infrastructure for the remainder...
