Did they ever get back to you on this? (I imagine they probably tried to sweep this under the rug)...
Back the Leader if Clear and in final Stages (Sniping) - Guardian Automation Bot
The person you are asking hasn't logged on since Feb so doubt they will see this
But TPD have always responded quickly and in depth to any issues brought to there attention

Thanks Dallas! I will give them a try. I'm quite keen to implement TPD data into my betangel automation, as i feel this could really be a game changer.Dallas wrote: ↑Tue Nov 08, 2022 10:37 pmThe person you are asking hasn't logged on since Feb so doubt they will see this

Can't remember if I set it to do that, but if I didn't you can either set BA to always connect to TPD in your main settings area
Or just add a 'Connect Race to TPD' rule to the automation file

Hi Dallas or anybody who can help.......
I am using your (Dallas's) templates to get started on using automation with TPD. I have traded hundreds of races using TPD manually and although I have tried, I have traded none at all with automation. Simply nothing happens at all. I should say I do simpler automated stuff without TPD and it works for me.
I've got to get down to absolute basics now or give up. Sorry if any of this is obvious and (yes) I have seen much commentary on this subject but:-
As I understand it, more than one automation file can be used on one market. Another instance of Bet Angel would have to be opened. Is that the only way to run two automations on one market? I really really need to know the answer to this!
Is the only other way to copy the rules from one file to the other and have a bumper combined rules file on one market? This is the way I need to go unless there is any other way in Guardian of putting two rules files on the one market but to be honest I am definitely not using additional instances to achieve this in the long run.
I am only asking as I need 'Speed Position & Distance' to use the TPD metrics in automation so where then do I put my own rules file/ bot? That is why I'm asking these most basic of questions about two rules files on one market.
At the moment neither of the above two methods works at all so manual may be the way for me but one last try..........
Thanks.

You can apply up to 5 automation files per instance of Bet Angel, next to the apply rules file link on the Guardian ribbon just select from the 'Rules 1-5' pick listSafeway wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 8:12 pm

ie, Apply your automation file as 'Rules 1', then apply the 'Speed Distance, Position automation file as 'Rules2'
To enable the additional rules columns in your Guardian market list so you can see what rules are applied to each market and select/deselect them for individual markets go onto the 'List' tab and using the 'Column Chooser' select Automation Rules 2-5' from the pop up menu

Hi dallas, I'll start by saying that I'm new to automation and I still think this bot is very interesting. Just a small observation. I tried to test the bot in practice mode and out of about forty tests it only activated 5 times. It seems a bit few, don't you think? I don't know if anyone has encountered the same problem. Maybe some parameters should be changed? What would you suggest I do. Thanks
Each bot is thoroughly tested prior to upload so it will be working 100% of the time.lubrivor wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 7:29 amHi dallas, I'll start by saying that I'm new to automation and I still think this bot is very interesting. But for you to only get around 5/40 triggers then there is something clearly wrong
1) It requires a TPD subscription, and today they were only operating at Bath during the afternoon, so it would only be able to trigger at this course so far today
2) Did you leave your PC unattended at all? and if so have you disabled your sleep/hibernation?
If not as soon as your PC/laptop goes into hibernation the connection to Betfair is lost so no rules will be able to trigger
3) Make sure you are using the fastest refresh rate in Guardian, and/or the restricted refresh option if you have a whole days racing loaded, the following post explains why this is important for all automation file and shows where to make the changes

Once you've ensured those three possibilities are addressed you should see the rules trigger 100% of the time

It won't always trigger because some races it won't meet the lead distance conditions.Dallas wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 5:36 pmEach bot is thoroughly tested prior to upload so it will be working 100% of the time.lubrivor wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 7:29 amHi dallas, I'll start by saying that I'm new to automation and I still think this bot is very interesting. Also it's trying to bet at 10 ticks below best reverse market price. What happens if the lay price is below 1.10 at point of trigger? eg There will be many races where the lay price is 1.01 by the time conditions are met.
Probably should of rephrased that last sentence slightly for Lubrivor that it will trigger 100% of the time it's meant tojamesedwards wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 5:54 pmIt won't always trigger because some races it won't meet the lead distance conditions.Dallas wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 5:36 pmEach bot is thoroughly tested prior to upload so it will be working 100% of the time.lubrivor wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 7:29 amHi dallas, I'll start by saying that I'm new to automation and I still think this bot is very interesting.
