Interesting.

I would feel very nervous about betting the draw at less than 2's..(just doesn't feel right does it?) think I would prefer to lay it and then scalp the 0-0 on the way down...

Must watch the odds on the next one (I did actually look at dutching the 0-0, 1-1 etc (and any other score), but at the current back prices at the time couldn't even make that profitable).
Anyway well done anyone who made a few bob out of it!

I looked at the odds on the correct score market, and also the over 2.5 odds, which all seemed to indicate that the draw would either be 0-0 or 1-1. I therefore dutched those two for average odds of 2.02.

I think the point is well made though, caution must be applied to these dodgy games. Don't bet more than you normally would.

Unfortunaly there are no proves that these games are fixed. 40% of these matches last year ended with a victory ( mainly away victory)
Betfair is not concerned about the integraty of these matches, neither sending informations to the italian FA. I have access to many Italian forums where I read many gamblers talking about the draw days before the market is on Betfair. The money are coming from several sources therefore betfair may feel the odds are unsual but, genuine. I have found out about lucchese vs benevento 4 days ago and chievo vs sampdoria (due 3rd of april) 2 weeks ago. I may be able to give you some tips how to make a secure profit over this matches before going in play.
I took records of all of them.
The sistem is very simple lay the draw between 1.4 1.44 whenever the odds hit that price and green up 5 minutes b4 kick off.
On Padova atalanta I layed the draw and backed 1-1 on the break I had both markets in green.
good luck

My system alerted me to the "Genoa v Cagliari" match, as an unusual move has started.

Any views on this one Enzabella?

Hi, caerdm
I have no news about genoa Vs cagliari
11K matched it`s not unsual.
33.4% on the draw is not unsual either ( it should be on 27% )
the correct odds on the draw for this match should be around 3.8.
I have highlighted Chievo vs Sampdoria couple days ago. It was on 1.75 now on 1.47
280K matched. The draw suppose to be on 41% insted is on 68.5%. If the draw dropped to 1.4 to 1.44 it will open some very profitable tradings opportunitys

The amount bet on the other results was due to crossmatching, as far as I can tell. I'll keep an eye on it ;)

And off course, thank you!

There is big cash in the queue on the lay side. As I said I have no news about genoa vs cagliari but from last night to now 270K were matched on this game. I have the feeling that the draw will go as low as 1.43 to settle almost in the end @ 1.55.
I got 5K matched on 1.47 on chievo vs sampdoria but, I will wait until 2nite to close it. I have just placed in the queue 2,150 (5K liability) @ 1.43 on genoa vs cagliari, finger crossed is going to be matched by friday :D :D .

I managed to open @3.10 and close @2.10, in what was a memorable trade :D

There is no money to be matched @1.43, so maybe you want to double check your positions, Enzabella :p

I was just joking on you, please don't get me wrong.

It all looked like €20k smashing the draw, but that was it, I'll keep an eye on this one, but I wouldn't like to have a back position open on the draw now :(

We should start a new thread for this stuff. Today my radar picked up: -

Brescia vs Bologna

Already £420k matched which far exceeds any other match on the day. Arsenal vs Blackburn has only traded £20k so far on the same day at shorter odds. Is there any special reason why Brescia should be so heavily backed?
