have found the reason my pc was hanging seemingly randomly.

The clock is set to synch with an internet time sever, and when my pc clock drifts by 30 secs plus or minus. It synchs up.

Ba does not like this, and stops/hangs for up to 20 secs until the synch as finished.

i have proved this several times by adusting my pc clock by either more than 30 secs or less then 30secs from the synch source, and then at the set time the adjustment is made, ba hangs for approx 20 secs.

Sweetybt if you read this check if your machine is automatically synching time, it maybe the cause.
