Got to feel for the guy. And it seems worse, the fact that the horse was running so well whilst he was watching. I wondered if the newspaper was exaggerating the odds for a good story, but checked and sure enough, it did get down to 1.01 just a few seconds before the end.
If I email him to tell him that I lost £33 on it as well , will that make him feel better?
