Does anyone here d.o.b I’m running.

Been pondering for a while about having a go at some in play trading (manually).

Curious to know whether anyone does?

Rightly or wrongly, I will place back bets at 11.00am (assuming the book% are formed), 10 mins before and 5 mins before.

On a number of occasions they actually DOB before the off.

Usually I use offset DOBS (50%) and then green up the field IP at 75%.

I am sure there a betters way of doing it but that's what I been doing over the last couple of weeks.

My personal preference is 5f, 6f and 7f Hcap races with a selections odds between 6 and 20.

IP Trader is versatile, back or lay bets into the market and a visual representation of the market...Pre and IP.

The entry point is subjective. You'll find the best one that suits you. On experience, I'd enter the market pre-off, and manage the IP trade either with automation or manually (if I'm attempting to let it ride).

The IP market is just another to cope with and understand it's strengths and weaknesses. It can be very rewarding.

my thoughts for the day...

Sonnet Rose (Wolverhampton 15:50 - 7f Hcap)
Lady Persephone (Wetherby 20:10 - 1m6f Hcap)
Happy Escape (Kempton 21:00 - 1m Hcap)
Finale (Kempton 21:00 - 1m Hcap)

Today, I'm attempting 5 in a row, +25% per trade (1.25). I'll compound the winnings at each stage with a small % removed if bet 2 wins. This staking is loosely based on someone that used to back place only selections the same way. (diabolical staking plan). Just a bit of fun and worst case scenario is -1pt.

furious with myself I had also selected Sonnet Rose which was the first of my DOBs. When I checked the result later my balance hadn't altered so I assumed it may have been a non runner. Another DOB was about to go off so I logged in via my phone and noticed the bet wasn't placed for Chapparal Dream in the 5.25 Navan. I did the offset manally and fortunately Chapparal dream DOBBED. couldn't understand why the software didn't place my bet watched the replay for the 3.50 saw that Sonnet Rose ran well. Just got in checked my computer and saw I hadn't entered the selections into Guardian!

Information purposes only.

7.30pm - Kempton - Best Blue

Only 4 races, 1 win, 3 DOBS.

Pace is excellent

Currently 11.0 on Betfair

7.30pm - Kempton - Han Solo Berger

Only 5 races, 2 win, 4 DOBS.

Pace is not great

Currently 36.0 on Betfair

However, the experts say don't pick races with more than 1 dob in it, so I leave it upto YOU if you pick one or both. Me not expert so do your own research etc.

Have fun. :D
