Apparently, the person who delivered the take-away has said there was rather more people there than originally thought and/or communicated in the first instance.

Whatever that means.

I can confirm that this party did in fact take place & there was approximately 50 guests.

I only know this because I was invited by Sir Kier personally, he needed an intellectual speaker. It was quite the Saturday night tbh.

The number of people shouldn't matter, the question is, was it work or social?

I love the way the Conservatives drink wine and Labour drinks beer. :)

Sounds like it was Work -> Social -> Work -> Social.

More drinks and another take away was delivered later in the evening from the same company and delivery driver.

If he's found guilty its hard to see how he doesn't have to instantly resign after banging on non stop for 5 months and making such a meal out of Boris doing the same thing
If he doesn't he's going to look like a monumental hypocrite and have less credibility than Boris - and that's quite an achievement!

There's nothing wrong with a suitcase full of beer - even I have more delivered than you could fit in a suitcase. But a suitcase of 13% wine, that's another matter. :)

Agreed, sounds like the police are now saying because of new evidence he is potentially in trouble. If so, he obviously been telling pork pies too.

Slightly off-topic but in Southend the police had to be called after an argument over a spoilt ballet paper.

The only thing that separated most of us during our lockdown parties.

We kept it legal.

Yep, he did say that. Be interesting to see what he says next.

Seeing as the LibDems have done rather well at the expense of Tory and Labour they might say "We got a lieing government and now opposition" all thats left is to now vote for us at the next General Election.

Interesting times ahead.

Starmer hasn't lied about anything but he's gonna have to accept he was wrong to suggest being under investigation is reason to resign.

Well, i bet "Angela Rayner" is crossing and uncrossing her legs at delight as she wanted the top job. Problem is she was at the same event/party.

If we not careful we could end up with Ed Davey as the next PM. Under those circumstances I think I would prefer Putin just blows us all up.

I never thought of that, would a LibDem ever press the button?
