Are they delaying Cheltenham?

OK seems like they're not! I've only just woken up and was sat there trading the Cheltenham race and watching some foreign race on ATR expecting to see the Cheltenham race come on 5 mins later when it starts. Could have been a catastrophe! Cheltenham on ATR??

Unfortunately it appears Lingers is just five minutes in front of Chelts!
I wonder how much effect this will have on the in-play price movement?
This could greatly reduce the number of in-play gamblers many of whom would prefer to focus their attention on the Cheltenham races. This would then increase the relative proportion of money that is traded by software bots which would mean that the price movement would less acurately reflect the positions of the horses particularly towards the end of the race where the bots seem to be most active.
Does anyone else have thoughts on this?

Lingfield, five minute run into Cheltenham which then clashes with Uttoexeter which then clashes with Fairyhouse. Small fields of runners 2 maybe 4 runners. No wonder racing is in such a mess at the moment, it's a farce.

The 13:25 at lingfield may have shown some indication of the lack of punters actually watching the race. Titan Triumph who was joint first in a dead heat with Blue Moon only traded down to 1.85 and was trading at 16 during trading on the photo finish.

This is a real mess today. If Donny was on it would work as there would be a nice lead into it. But the rest of the card is a complete mess now and the field sizes are rubbish also.

What gets me is when we have owners and trainers moaning about prize money and we get these joke fields - Was £15k or so for the winner and a good few grand fro second in the 2 runner race in Ireland yet only 2 horses turn up - so either the race planners are putting on races for horses that don't exist or the owners/trainers aren't running their horses.

Wish they would get their house in order before complaining about others not giving them enough money!

Tough day, the 16:10 at Chelts was the first race I did since the 15:35 at the same course. That just about sums it up!

Ludlow abandoned, are they ever going to host a race here again? I think they have only done one race this season so far?
